Inorganic Polyphosphate, Exopolyphosphatase, and <i>Pho84</i>-Like Transporters May Be Involved in Copper Resistance in <i>Metallosphaera sedula</i> DSM 5348<sup>T</sup>

<div>Transcriptional levels of <i>ppx</i> gene increase significantly in <i>M. sedula</i> DSM 5348<sup>T</sup> cells after a copper shift. Relative transcriptional levels of <i>ppx</i> in <i>M. sedula</i> cells exposed to an 8 mM copper shift were measured by qRT-PCR.
