Aims and Scope

Advances in Tribology is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that is devoted to the publication of original research papers and review articles in all areas of tribology. The aim of the journal is the rapid dissemination of newly discovered knowledge so that strategic information reaches researchers and practitioners of friction, lubrication and wear worldwide and in a timely fashion. The material the journal publishes encompasses theoretical, numerical and experimental research thus catering to both industrial and academic practitioners of the science and engineering of tribology.
