Effect of pol3-t on homologous integration in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Homologous gene targeting was measured by transformation of the plasmid pJZ102 digested with EcoRI-HindIII to release a URA3 fragment that was flanked by the 5’ and 3’ ends of LYS2 gene. Only URA3lys2 colonies were counted as homologous integrants. In parentheses, the total URA3lys2 colonies counted are reported. Data are reported as mean of at least 6 independent experiments standard deviation.
