MCP-1, sICAM-1, and TNF-a levels in the serum of apoE-/- mice were analyzed by ELISA. IL-1 (a), TNF-a (b), sICAM-1 (c), and MCP-1 (d) levels markedly increased in the serum of apoE mice following different weeks of CMS compared with the corresponding control group ( per group). These cytokines were measured by ELISA according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Data are mean SEM. *P , **P , ***P versus respective control value.
