Photomicrographs of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) staining of the hypothalamus of normothermic (NT) mouse received normobaric air (NBA) (NT+NBA), NT mouse received hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) (NT+HBO), heatstroke (HS) mouse received NBA (HS+NBA), or HS mouse received HBO (HS+HBO). The animals were killed at 4 hours after the termination of 1-hour heat exposure or the equivalent time for the normothermic mouse.
