Egg, but not worm, antigens drive Foxp3+ Treg responses. SEA treatment increases the representation of Foxp3+ Tregs in the pancreas (a) and liver (b) of NOD mice. Female NOD mice were treated at eight weeks of age with 50 g SEA or SWA on day 0 and day 7. Pancreatic infiltrating cells were isolated and stained for intracellular Foxp3 expression on day 10.
