Preparation and Characterization of a Novel Skin Substitute

The MTT test was used to assess tissue viability in normal skin (NS) and biosubstitute. A NS sample was used as a positive control. The viability of skin substitute was analyzed at 7, 14 and 21 days after cell nebulization. A constant increase in the cell viability was observed over time, parallel to the growth and epidermal layer development.
