Camel Milk Triggers Apoptotic Signaling Pathways in Human Hepatoma HepG2 and Breast Cancer MCF7 Cell Lines through Transcriptional Mechanism
Figure 6
Effect of RNA synthesis inhibitor Act-D on the induction Caspase-3 activity by camel milk in HepG2 cells. HepG2 cells were treated with 5 μg/mL Act-D, a RNA synthesis inhibitor, 30 min before exposure to camel milk (20 mg/mL) for additional 6 h. The amount of Caspase-3 mRNA was quantified using RT-PCR and normalized to β-actin housekeeping gene. Duplicate reactions were performed for each experiment, and the values presented are the means ± SEM () of three inv experiments. compared with control; compared to same treatment in the absence of Act-D.
