Real-time PCR analysis of gene expression associated with cell cycle. mRNA expression of cell-cycle-related genes, such as cyclins, cdc(s), CDKs, and PCNA, was examined by real-time PCR assay in MDA-MB231 cells after treatment with α-mangostin, as compared with controls. White bars and gray bars show the results of analysis for 6 h and 12 h after treatment with 20 μM α-mangostin, respectively (*, **). Relative levels of target gene expression were calculated using the ΔΔ CT method. GAPDH was used as a reference gene. Data are presented as means ± SD of triplicate independent measurements.
