The formation of the signaling clusters in CAR-expressing cells by antigen stimulation. Jurkat cells expressing ZAP-70-AcGFP were plated on stimulatory coverslips coated with anti-CD3ε, then fixed and stained with fluorescently-labeled anti-CD3ζ. Confocal images at the interface between the attached cells and the stimulatory surface were collected (a).
