Treatment of muscle fibers for 1 h either with 10 Hz continuous electrical field stimulation or with 2 mM AICAR does not alter the subcellular distribution of NT-PGC-1α. n/c values from 20 nuclei from 20 randomly selected different fibers were averaged to give the mean value for each group.
