RNase activity of wild-type and mutant hRNase3. Five mg of yeast tRNA was added to 0.05 μM bovine RNaseA and 5 μM of (a) HBR1-mtRNase3, HBR2-mtRNase3, and HBR3-mtRNase3 and (b) HBR12-mtRNase, HBR13-mtRNase3, HBR23-mtRNase3, and HBR123-mtRNase3 separately to examine the RNase activity. The amount of digested ribonucleotides in supernatant was detected by monitoring OD260 and RNase activity of bovine RNaseA was set as a positive control.
