Oat5 abundance in renal homogenates (a) and apical membranes (b) from kidneys of control and treated (vitamin D3 300,000 IU/kg, b.w., i.m.) rats. Proteins were separated by SDS-PAGE and blotted onto nitrocellulose membranes. Oat5 was identified using a noncommercial antibody as described in Section 2.
