Immunohistochemistry for Oat5 in kidneys from control and treated (vitamin D3 300,000 IU/kg, b.w., i.m.) animals. Serial sections from each rat kidney were stained using a noncommercial anti-Oat5 antibody. In kidneys from treated group a marked increase in the Oat5 staining was observed. These figures are representatives of typical samples from four rats for each experimental group. Bars: 40 μm.
