Reducing the levels of CD44, MT1-MMP, and MMP9 attenuates OC migration but not polarization, sealing ring formation, and bone resorption. Three dentine slices were used for each condition in both experiments. Results represent one of the two experiments and dentine slices performed with two different osteoclast preparations.
