BSA adsorption isotherms on AMS. Adsorption was carried out in 10 mM PB at pH 5.5 and pH 7.0. The amount of BSA adsorbed on AMS was plotted against the equilibrium BSA concentration, and the curves were fitted with Langmuir equation: , = surface coverage by protein at equilibrium [mg/m2], = Langmuir constant [mL/mg], = equilibrium concentration [mg/mL], and = maximal surface coverage at equilibrium [mg/m2].
