Association of Toll-Like Receptor 4 Polymorphisms with Diabetic Foot Ulcers and Application of Artificial Neural Network in DFU Risk Assessment in Type 2 Diabetes Patients

Genotype frequencies of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) rs4986790, rs4986791, rs11536858, rs1927911, and rs1927914 of TLR4 gene among Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU) and controls. The differences in frequencies between the DFU and control groups were analyzed for statistical significance at the 95% confidence interval using chi square test. Odds ratios (ORs) were calculated and reported within the 95% confidence limits. A two-tailed 𝑃 value of ≤0.05 was considered as statistically significant.
