Western blot analysis of the MTA-regulated proteins in A549, H460, and H1299 cells. (a) A549, (b) H460, and (c) H1299 cells (105 cells) were seeded onto 6 cm dishes and allowed to attach for 24 h prior to drug treatment (day 0). MTA (500 nM), FA (1,600 nM), and VB12 (1,600 nM) were added with fresh medium, and cells were harvested at the indicated times. The proteins of TS, p53, p2, and β-actin were determined by immunoblot experiments with the corresponding antibodies. Expression of β-actin on the same immunoblot was used as a loading control.
