Maximum likelihood tree showing phylogenetic relationships of G. tenuis and relevant genera within Grateloupia, inferred from partial rbcL gene sequences (1240 bp). Gelidiella ligulata and Gracilaria tenuistipitata were treated as outgroups. Numbers at internal nodes are bootstrap proportion values (1000 replicates) for ML, NJ, and MP, which only show above 50% bootstrap support.
