Cellular stress responses. Immunostaining of pancreatic sections for cellular stress protein, HSP-104 (yellow—pseudocolor for Cy3) (a) and endoplasmic reticulum stress protein RL-77 (green) (b) demonstrate an increased cellular stress (HSP104 and RL-77) among Mutants compared to Lean and Control and with age. Isotype controls for HSP-104 (c) and RL-77 (e) have also been depicted and with corresponding RFU for HSP-104 (d) and RL-77 (f).
