Effects of biotin treatment on EROD and MROD levels in the hepatic tissues of rats that were simultaneously treated with phenobarbital (60 mg/kg) and β-naphthoflavone (80 mg/kg). Increasing biotin concentrations were added to the reaction mixtures when measuring the enzymatic activity: (pmol of resorufin formed/min/mg of protein). The results represent the means ± SEM of two independent experiments that were conducted in triplicate. A was considered to be significantly different from the control group using Student’s t-test.
