The value in the table represents the mean ± SEM of 12 animals/group. A significant decrease in body weights from day 12 (^∗𝑃< 0.038) of arthritic animal compared to normal animals was observed till the end of experiment. Treatment with indomethacin significantly (^∗∗𝑃 < 0.05) increases body weights compared to nontreated arthritic group from day 12 till the end of experiment. Treatment with NA-2 increases body weight of animals, but it shows significant increase (^#P < 0.05) from day 18 compared to arthritic group.
