Immunolocalization of NHE2 in steroid replaced ovariectomized rats and in rats at different phases of the oestrous cycle. NHE2 was expressed at both the apical and basolateral membrane of the endometrial epithelia. Its expression was increased under E-dominance, however was reduced under P dominance.
