The combined effects of IL-15 and CpG on CD8+ T cell IFN- production require T-bet. Wild-type (filled bars) or Tbx21−/− (open bars) CD8+ T cells and Thy1.2-depleted APC were cocultured with anti-CD3 for 72 hours in the presence of IL-15, CpG, or IL-15+CpG. Cell culture supernatants were then harvested and IFN- levels were determined by ELISA. Results are representative of two independent experiments and are expressed as . *; NS: not significant.
