(a) EMSA analysis of MJ0927. 25 nM ssDNA was incubated with various amounts of MJ0927 at 0, 50, 250, and 500 μM in a 10-μL reaction mixture and 25 nM dsDNA was incubated with increasing amounts of MJ0927 at 0, 50, 100, and 200 μM. (b) Surface representations displaying the electrostatic potential of MJ0927. Electrostatic potential was calculated using the program APBS [19] implemented in PYMOL (The PyMOL Molecular Graphics System, Version 0.99rc6 Schrödinger, LLC.).
