Neuroprotective Effects of Geniposide in SH-SY5Y Cells and Primary Hippocampal Neurons Exposed to Aβ42

Geniposide increases the viability of SY5Y-APP695swe cells and decreases the cytotoxicity of Aβ. Different concentrations of geniposide (Gp) were added to swAPP-SY5Y cells. After 24 h coincubation, cell viability was detected by using CCK-8 Kit. Data were represented as mean standard deviation (SD), ^*, ^** (a). Amyloid β was preincubated with geniposide (Gp) at 37°C for 24 h, and then the mixture was added to the hippocampal neurons. The concentration of LDH in medium was detected after incubation for 3 days (b).
