Effect of challenge with vasoconstrictor on the mean blood pressure and the expression of musclin protein. Wistar rats were injected intravenously (IV) with a vasoconstrictor named phenylephrine (PE; 10 μg/kg) dissolved in 9% saline, the used vehicle, 4 times daily for one week.
