Thiobarbituricacid reactive substances (TBARS) expressed as nM of MDA/mg protein; Catalase expressed as nmoles of H₂O₂ consumed/min/mg protein; Superoxide dismutase (SOD) expressed as U/mg protein; Glutathione expressed as µg of GSH/mg protein. The results are expressed as mean ± standard error of the mean (SEM). Probability values of   < 0.0001, ^aaa < 0.001, ^aa < 0.01, and ^a < 0.05 were compared with normal control.
