Independent testing reveals that AceK outperforms the four available online acetylation site prediction tools with sensitivity (Sn) of 0.73, specificity (Sp) of 0.74, accuracy (ACC) of 0.74, and Matthew’s correlation coefficient (MCC) of 0.2.
