Silencing miR-21 Sensitizes Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer A549 Cells to Ionizing Radiation through Inhibition of PI3K/Akt

Clonogenic survival of NSCLC A549 cells after varying doses of ionizing radiation. A549 cells were transfected with either anti-miR-21 or anti-miR-NC and 48 h later were irradiated followed by a further incubation for 24 h at 37°C before trypsinization and plating for clonogenic survival.
