Exosome uptake can be blocked at 4°C or with heparin treatment. SW780 cells were cultured with labeled exosomes at 4°C for 4 hours (a–c) or pretreated with 10 μg/mL heparin for 30 minutes, followed by incubation with exosomes for 4 hours (d–f). This experiment was performed at least three times, with data from a representative experiment shown. A minimum of 10,000 cells were analyzed for each sample. (a) and (d) Representative images.
