Effects of silibinin on gene expression of ICAM-1 in TNF-α- or IFN-γ-stimulated ARPE-19 cells. ARPE-19 cells were preincubated with 25 μM or 50 μM silibinin for 24 h and then stimulated with TNF-α (a) or IFN-γ (b) for 6 h. The levels of gene expression were quantified by RT-PCR and are expressed as ratios to the average of the control group.
