Toxic Damage Increases Angiogenesis and Metastasis in Fibrotic Livers via PECAM-1
Figure 3
Intracellular signal transduction after ethanol damage in endothelial cells. SVEC4-10 (a) and HUVEC (b) were damaged with ethanol for three consecutive days. Every day, a subgroup of the cells was harvested and protein isolated. Protein was subjected to different ELISA, detecting phosphorylated ERK1/2, P38 MAPK or JNK. Data is expressed as relative phosphorylated protein levels ± SEM with the untreated controls set as 1. , *, and n.s. = not significant compared to the control.
