The Wedelolactone Derivative Inhibits Estrogen Receptor-Mediated Breast, Endometrial, and Ovarian Cancer Cells Growth

BTB does not affect the phosphorylation of Akt and Stat3 expression in MCF-7, Ishikawa, and SKOV-3 cells. Western blot analyses of Akt, p-Akt, Stat3, and p-Stat3 levels in control and 5 and 10 μM BTB treated MCF-7, Ishikawa, and SKOV-3 cells in the absence or presence of 10 nM E2. 50 μg of protein lysate of each sample was applied onto a 10% sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel and subjected to electrophoresis followed by Western blot using anti-AKT, anti-p-AKT (s473), anti-Stat3, and anti-p-Stat3 antibodies. Representative graphs were shown from consistent results collected from three independent experiments.
