Considering Angle Selection When Using Ultrasound Electrode Displacement Elastography to Evaluate Radiofrequency Ablation of Tissues

Table 1

Comparisons between the inclusion sizes and the ablation zones detected by electrode displacement strain imaging. The correlation coefficient decreases with increasing the angle between the transducer and the RF electrode. The correlation coefficient is smaller than 0.9 when the angle is larger than 60°. Data are expressed by mean ± standard deviation.
