Inhibitory Effect on <i>In Vitro</i> LDL Oxidation and HMG Co-A Reductase Activity of the Liquid-Liquid Partitioned Fractions of <i>Hericium erinaceus</i> (Bull.) Persoon (Lion’s Mane Mushroom)

<table>Effect of<i> H. erinaceus </i>fractions on inhibiting the oxidation of human LDL (ox-LDL) molecules. The increased lag time of conjugated diene (CD) formation along with decreased absorbance at 234 nm indicates the extent of ox-LDL inhibition by the respective fraction against the FeSO<sub>4</sub>-induced LDL oxidation. Quercetin (Q) was used as the positive control. All the fractions and quercetin were used at 1 <i>μ</i>g/mL conc.</table>
