ADAC dose-response study: the effect on noise-induced ABR threshold shifts (defined as the difference between ABR thresholds before and after noise exposure at a single frequency). Threshold shifts averaged across all frequencies (8–28 kHz) are also shown. ADAC (25–300 μg/kg i.p.) was administered for five consecutive days at 24 h intervals, commencing six hours after noise exposure. In the control group (ADAC dose “0”), injections of the vehicle solution were administered at the same intervals as ADAC.
