Ox-LDL affects NF-κB transcription and translocation. (a) RT-PCR demonstrated that ox-LDL treatment of EPCs significantly increased the mRNA expression of P65 subunits of NF-κB. versus control. ((b)-(c)) In untreated cells, most of the fluorescence staining for NF-κB was in the cytoplasm. After cells were treated with ox-LDL, fluorescence staining for NF-κB increased in the nuclei area.
