(b) P. aeruginosa PAO1 strain was grown in the absence (○) and presence (●) of 0.12 mg/mL DhL from early log phase to stationary phase (1.7 hr) at 37°C with constant shaking. Generation time (between 1 and 3 hr) of PAO1 in presence of DhL (calculated from three independent experiments) was  min whereas it was  min in the control PAO1 culture. Data represent the mean of three independent experiments ± SEM.
