Localization of MNP-CPPecp in CT-26 tumor-bearing mouse. To investigate the biodistribution of CPPecp in vivo, CT-26 tumor-bearing mice were intravenously injected with 0.06 emu/g MNP-CPPecp and sacrificed at a time point of 3, 6, 12, and 24 h after injection (a). Signal of MNP-CPPecp was visualized using Prussian blue staining to indicate ferric iron in tissue section (blue color, yellow arrow). Represented staining patterns of trachea, heart, large intestine, liver, and CT-26 tumor were shown (b). MNP injection was set as negative control. Nuclear fast red staining was set as counterstain (red color). Magnification: 200x and 400x. Scale bar: 100 μm and 50 μm.
