Vitamin K1 Exerts Antiproliferative Effects and Induces Apoptosis in Three Differently Graded Human Colon Cancer Cell Lines

Figure 1

Proliferative response of Caco-2, HT-29, and SW480 cell lines to vitamin K1 (VK1) treatment. Effects of increasing concentrations of VK1 (10 μM, 50 μM, 100 μM, and 200 μM) on the conversion of MTT tetrazolium salt in Caco-2 (a), HT-29 (b), and SW480 (c) cell lines after 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h of treatment. All data represent the result of three different experiments (mean ± SEM). For each time of treatment, data were analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis analysis of variance and Dunn’s multiple comparison test. * compared to control cells.
