Kinetic response following a decrease in pacing frequency from 4 Hz to 1 Hz (). Developed force () decreases gradually following the initial change in pacing frequency. Prior to the decline in there is a rapid increase in force for approximately 5 seconds. Time to peak tension (TTP) and time to 50% relaxation (RT50) both increase following an increase in pacing frequency that stabilizes in approximately 30 seconds.
