IIMild symptoms of temporomandibular dysfunction—temporomandibular joint noise, feeling of “jaw fatigue” (fatigue of masticatory muscles), and feeling of “jaw rigidity” (increased tone of masticatory muscles).

IIISevere symptoms of temporomandibular dysfunction—restricted mouth opening, painful lower jaw movements, temporomandibular joint pain, masticatory muscle pain, temporomandibular joint luxation, and lockjaw.
