High Yielding Microbubble Production Method

The microbubbling device (not to scale) consists of two concentric capillaries. The outer capillary carries the liquid whereas inner capillary carries core nitrogen gas. These coflowing liquid and gas phases are squeezed through the 100 μm aperture by the surrounding air flow. On exiting the aperture, the core gas, in form of the primary microbubbles, is disintegrated into smaller secondary microbubbles.
