Overall study design: the two study objectives are shown along with the 6 analyses that were performed and the datasets that were used; “eggs in urine” refer to identifying S. haematobium eggs in urine samples; “measured hematuria” refers to micro- or macrohematuria via a semiquantitative dipstick; “self-reported macrohematuria” and “self-reported swimming” refer to self-reported presence of macrohematuria and swimming behavior, respectively, by the individual study participant in a private setting and not through hand-raising in a classroom.
