Proliferative activity in U-87 MG and LN-229 glioma spheroids increased by progesterone (P) stimulation using 3 ng/mL P but was reduced by supplementation of 30 ng/mL P. Proliferative activity was assessed by immunohistochemical detection of the Ki67 protein in the two different glioma spheroid types. Scale bars 100 μm.
