Cytostatic and cytotoxic activities of PNM in cells from the (a) HCT-116, (b) MCF-7, and (c) THP-1 cell lines. 20,000 cells/100 μl and 5,000 cells/100 μl media were seeded in 96-microtiter plates for the cytotoxic and cytostatic assays, respectively, and incubated with PEB (0–1000 μg/ml of culture media) for 24 hours and 72 hours for cytotoxic and cytostatic assays, respectively. ; .
