Women’s Skin throughout Lifetime

Call for Papers

The hormonal status is modulated during women’s lifetime. Puberty, pregnancy, ovarian cycle, menopause, hormonal treatments, and hormonal disruptors stem as much from intrinsic chronobiology as from social status. Some of the induced changes range from discrete skin physical impairments to dermocosmetic troubles and typical pathological disorders.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Pubertal greasy skin
  • Menstrual acne
  • Pregnancy skin disorders
  • Climacteric aging
  • Female hair loss
  • Dry skin
  • Viscoelastic properties of skin
  • Effects of hormone replacement therapy
  • Impact of hormonal disruptors
  • Skin wrinkles
  • Pigmentary changes

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/bmri/guidelines/.
