Natural Bioactives in Cancer Treatment and Prevention
Description
Natural bioactives are generally referred to as the compounds exclusive of essential nutrients that have specific biological activity to humans. From several decades ago to now, cancer continues to be the leading lethal cause worldwide. Studies have shown that natural phytochemicals derived from certain plants have the capability to prevent carcinogenesis. Therefore, new active compounds responsible for the cancer-against characteristics of dietary plants and original active compounds that exert novel function on anticarcinogenesis are important issues for cancer investigation. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Pharmacology or Pharmaceutics of phytochemicals
- Discovery of new natural bioactives or phytochemicals
- New cancer therapy by phytochemicals
- SAR studies (structure/activity relationship) of cancer preventive natural compounds
- Natural metabolites as lead compounds for cancer prevention
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/bmri/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/bmri/pharmacology/nbctb/ according to the following timetable:
