Physiology to the Pleiotropic Role of RNAs: Prospecting Novel Therapies

Call for Papers

A growing number of functions are assigned to RNA. In the past decade, evidence emerged concerning the physiological and pathological roles of microRNA, short hairpin RNA, and small interfering RNA. This knowledge arises the opportunity to both consider RNAs as novel therapeutic targets and tools. It is anticipated that advancement in this direction will depict a new landscape for treating several human diseases.

We invite authors to submit original research and review articles that deepen the understanding of the importance of RNAs in physiopathological contexts. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • RNAs’ structural characterization and function
  • RNAs-induced posttranscriptional/translational and epigenetic modifications
  • RNAs’ role and application in human diseases
  • Strategies for pharmacokinetics/delivery approaches

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/bmri/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/bmri/physiology/pleio/ according to the following timetable:
